Babra sharif is a charming and popular film actress in Pakistan. She was born on 10 December 1954 in district Lahore of Punjab province in Pakistan. She has worked with 16 heroes in different movies. Before filmstar Reema, she’d a record to work with more heroes. The famous names of that time with whom Babra Sharif worked in movies were Nadeem, Waheed Murad, Muhammad Ali, Ghulam Mohyedin etc. Her dedication to Urdu movies is unforgettable. Some critics have declared her the best actress of her time. She has worked as heroin in more than 100 Pakistani movies. Babra Sharif’s Career Facts

When Babra was 12 years old she got an opportunity to work in a commercial on PTV. She was presenting ‘Jet Washing Powder’ in that commercial in the year 1973. But soon fortune smiled on her and she won a chance and resultantly started work in a drama Kiran Kahani, aired on Pakistan Television. The drama was written by a popular writer Haseena Moin and directed by Shirin Khan. Her gorgeous appearance and geniuses help her to make further progress in the show business. Babra Sharif appeared in another commercial in which she would advertise LUX soap but this time she won much fame and to great extent, she became popular among the public or viewers. Life Story as an actress

As she appeared in some commercials and drama. After a year in 1974, she worked in the film Bhool which was directed by S. Sulaiman. The same director signed Babra Sharif in his second movie Intezar. Observing her excellent performance in two movies, she was signed by a director Nazar Shabab in the movie Shama in the same year i.e 1974. Stars of that movie were Waheed Murad, Deeba, Muhammad Ali and Nadeem. In 1975 she worked in the film Mera naa patay khan directed by Masood Pervez. She also worked at that time in other movies like Shareef Badmash, Ajnabi , Nauka, etc. In the same year i.e in 1975, Babra became prominent when her film Mera Naam hai Mohabbat was released. The director of this movie was Shahab kiranve. In 1976, she worked in other  five movies which went super hit among the public like Talaash, Dewar,Aag aur Aansoo, Zubeida and Shabaana. She was awarded Nigar Awards as best actress. In 1977 her other film Aashi released.

In 1980, she worked in two movies Chotay Nawab and Dil ne per yad kia. In 1981 she appeared in the movie Sangdil which went super hit and because of her admirable performance in this movie she again acquired the Best Actress award from Nigar awards. Soon she worked in the movie ham nahi ya tum nahi which was a super hit movie. In the same year Babara Sharif shooted 2 more movies, Piyasa sawan and Dostana. In 1996, her film Sajawal achieved success. In 1997 her last movie Ghayal released, after which she decided to leave the film industry and afterward didn’t agree to sign a movie with any director.
