Yasmeen Khan Pashto Actress

Yasmin Khan was a famous actress in Pashto movies. She performed with several popular actors in Pashto movies.  The Graph of the Pashto film industry rose when Yasmin Khan emerged in this field.  She was born in a village namely Kakshal in District Peshawar in the 1950s.  Her real name was Shamshad. After joining the film industry she was known as Yasmin khan. 

She was a child when her real father passed away leaving her orphan. Her mother got married to a person in Jamrud Khyber agency. She lost her parent and mother. During these circumstances, her grant mother took the responsibility of her to look after her.  She had another sister namely Saeeda.

Yasmeen Khan performed in 200 movies in different languages. She acted as heroine in 80 movies with Badar Munir a well-known personality in the film industry. Her first Urdu movie was Dulhan ek Raat Ki. She also worked in Punjabi movies. In 1995 she also directed some movies but didn’t get much success then she left the field of direction soon.

As for as her marital life is concerned, she married for the first time with a person namely Saqi who was a film actor. For Saqi she gave birth to a female child. After Saqi she married a studio owner in Lahore namely, Khurram Bari. She also had a daughter from this husband. Her this daughter's name was Qara-tul-Aeen, She also divorced from Khurram Bari.

After obtaining a divorce from her second husband, she got married to a person namely Arifullah who was the resident of village kakshal in district Peshawar. Arifullah would do the business of auto parts in Shuba Bazar Peshawar. By character, he was not a good person. He was involved in debaucher's activities and Yasmeen khan would not like her immodest character. In May 1990, her husband Arifulah shoot her in her home. He was soon arrested by Peshawar Police.

There are multiple reasons for her death. Some people say that Arifullah had a wrong eye on her step-daughter qara-tul-Aeen as she was the daughter of her former husband Khurram Bari. Some people say that Arifullah wanted to capture the wealth and property of his wife while some are of the view that her husband did this in the conspiracy of his first wife.

The film industry was greatly shocked by the death of Yasmeen Khan as she left a great space. She is still alive in the minds of the people. Many documentaries in Urdu and the Pashto language were published on youtube.  Her grave was opened by the Police regarding the investigation of her case. Her dead body was found the same as she was buried. 

Her husband Arifullah was also killed by some people. With her demise, the Pashto film industry and viewers lost a talented actress. Many people have prepared videos on her life biography in her honor.
