Alamzeb Mujahid was a super hit Pakistani actor. He emerged on
PTV as comedian actor and a serious actor as well. He played all types of roles
on PTV. Alamzeb Mujahid was not only a TV actor but a stage actor and film star
as well. He was connected with PTV for
over 20 years and played significantly more stage programs on PTV and private
productions. Alamzeb Mujahid performed
about 250 dramas. This shining star of PTV played more in Pashto dramas as
compare to Urdu dramas on Pakistan Television. Because of his excellent
performance he got lot of prominence in Pakistan and abroad. He got much reputation
with a Pashto drama “Janan”
Alamzeb Mujahid was born in District Charsadda, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Subsequent to getting his four year college education, he got his Master Degree in Pashto from University of Peshawar. After completing education he joined the field of dramas and played as hero, father, husband and brother as well. In 2009, the situation took an unfortunate turn when the militants kidnapped him to some hidden place of tribal area. He remained abductee for weeks and suddenly released, but it is astonishing that after release he held a press conference and said bye to the drama and film industry. Alamzeb mujahid after leaving this filed soon shifted to USA and has been residing there with family.
