Hürrem Sultan.

the series' screenwriter, and Timur Save*, the series' producer, spent eight
months searching for the best actress for this role. In the course of the filming of
Muhteşem Yüzy*l, she spent two long years living in a hotel.
She shared
the lead role with Halit Ergenç, Nebahat Çehre, and Okan Yalabık. During the broadcast of Muhteşem
Yüzy*l in over 60 countries, Uzerli reached more than 400 million viewers every
week.
Her
remarkable performances earned her several awards within the first two years of
her career. Her role won
her the Golden Butterfly Award for Best Actress in 2012, so it was no surprise
that she won.
Her exit
from the series was due to health issues, which caused burnout. The role of Hürrem Sultan was
performed by Vahide Perçin in episode 103.
Uzerli was
announced to be returning after a one-year break with new management and a TV
venture at the end of 2014. A subsequent contract was signed with O3, one of
the largest production companies in the Arab world.
The Turkish
edition of Elle magazine and Louis Vuitton commemorated Uzerli's comeback with
a 12-page fashion spread. Among the German landmarks that were photographed were the Berliner Dom
and the Siegessäule.
Uzerli was
to hold a press conference in Dubai, introducing her newest endeavor, however, rather than being present in
Dubai for the signing ceremony, Uzerli went to Istanbul with a small group of
press members.
She also
starred in a cinema film in 2016, titled Annemin Yaras*, besides her career in
television. In addition
to Ozan Güven, Okan Yalab*k, and Belçim Bilgin, she appears in movies alongside
them.
As a model,
Uzerli has appeared in numerous ads for Elle, Marie Claire, InStyle, and
Sunsilk.
