The real situation of coronavirus in Islamabad

When the coronavirus began to take over the country in early March, the biggest challenge for the administration at the time was to convince people that the virus was not a rumor but a fact, but the public was reluctant to accept that fact. When the coronavirus began to take over the country in early March, the biggest challenge for the administration was to convince people that the virus was not a rumor but a fact, but the public was reluctant to accept it.  ۔ Therefore, in order to control the situation, an immediate lockdown was decided and almost the entire country, including Islamabad, was closed for some time with very positive and meaningful results. It was not possible for the winning country. The root cause is the monster of poverty, which has many times more deadly and devastating consequences than Krona. Due to the lockdown, foreign investment and local businesses had to be stagnant. As a result, protests against the lockdown began around the world. People decided to give preference to Karuna over hunger and economic hardship. When the situation in our country started moving in this direction, the government, realizing the situation in time, adopted the policy of smart lockdown. Obviously, the solution to the problem was to keep the wheel of life moving by reconciling with Karuna instead of sinking one's economic ship in such a difficult time. There are difficult times in the lives of nations and life itself is a struggle. Sometimes you have to deal with thunderstorms. Under this principle, the district administration of Islamabad was the first in Pakistan to introduce Smart Lockdown, which has helped in preventing the spread of the virus. A common misconception is that the number of coronavirus patients in Islamabad is much higher than the population. This impression is completely wrong and the result of ignorance of the facts. Yes, it is important to know that most of the corona tests have been done in Islamabad. Obviously, the more tests there are, the more people will know. If only a thousand people are tested in a city of 10 million and the number of affected people is 500, it does not mean that the number of cases in that city is less. Comparing the spread of Corona virus in Islamabad with other parts of the country is not fair because the testing rate in other parts of the country is much lower than here. By now, the district administration of Islamabad has tested one lakh citizens out of a population of 2.1 million. Which is the highest number of tests in any district in the country. And the number of infected patients is only 10,000. Therefore, the perception that there are more positive cases in the federal capital is not correct.

The key point here is to understand that Rawalpindi, the twin city along with Islamabad, has been included in the list of most affected cities in Punjab. From where thousands of government employees and people from other walks of life go to Islamabad every day. Countless people from nearby areas like Attock, Taxila, Fateh Jang,

Murree, Rawat and Gujjar Khan turn to Islamabad on a daily basis. In addition, due to the city being in power, people from all over the country keep coming here for various activities In the face of all these factors, Islamabad was an ideal city for the spread of this contagious virus, but the administration did not spare a single minute to stop the outbreak. According to figures released by the Ministry of Health, the spread of the corona virus in Islamabad could be as high as 20 per cent like other cities in the country. But the district administration, through an integrated and systematic strategy, has kept it at 10 percent. The main point of the administration's strategy is that as soon as cases start being reported in a street or neighborhood, all traffic is stopped by imposing a ban on movement there. Commercial activities in these areas are regulated by the Rangers and the police under international SOPs. Rangers and police personnel are vigilant at all times and are fully capable of dealing with any emergency. All District Officers are using all their capabilities to implement SOPs. Strict action is being taken against those who violate the precautionary measures. Penalties on the spot for violating precautionary measures, forming raid teams to monitor hotels and shops, imposing fines on irresponsible shopkeepers and manufacturers, as well as markets or offices as and when required. Etc. including sealing.

Since its inception, the district administration has been working closely with NHIs, PIMS, polyclinics, NDMAs and other private hospitals and laboratories to ensure timely response to available data. Testing of local patients and provision of basic treatment facilities to them has been ensured. Inevitable steps have been taken to prevent the spread of the disease to other people with the best possible treatment of the infected people. Similarly, the Islamabad administration quarantined 10,000 passengers from abroad with full precautionary measures. Each passenger was examined in detail and allowed to move to their homes after negative results. One of the main challenges we faced was stockpiling in the days of the epidemic. As soon as the lockdown starts Storage was closely monitored to ensure the supply of senators and masks and all pharmacies were required to ensure the availability of these items at fixed rates at all times. Islamabad is the first district in Pakistan to make it mandatory to wear mass in public places. Later in the days of lockdown, the district administration introduced phone apps in collaboration with various companies to bring the basic necessities of life to the doorsteps of the people so that the number of people leaving their homes unnecessarily can be minimized. Hello Doctor and Cure apps were launched to bring the medical facilities to the patients of Karuna to their homes to reduce the burden on the hospitals here due to the relocation of their patients to Islamabad by the nearby Kogos.

At the same time, the administration formulated a strategy to improve the hospital system in other surrounding districts. In particular, a team of experts has been sent to Azad Kashmir, which

is working to improve the health sector there. At the same time, more space has been provided for the admission of new patients in the hospitals of the Federal Capital Territory and work is in progress. All pharmacies were barred from profiteering by issuing notifications under the Drug Act for the availability of drugs used in the treatment of corona at fixed prices.

In view of the increasing demand for oxygen in Corona patients, arrangements were made in collaboration with Appna & Hands to ensure the supply of oxygen to people's homes. Although we are going through a difficult time, instead of being afraid or worried, the people should be satisfied that the administration is ready for every difficult time and all the administrative departments are working day and night to perform their duties despite many difficulties. Have done In order to keep the management and administration of the district co-ordinated and organized, all the officers of the administration stay connected with the public through Facebook and Twitter round the clock and immediately resolve the related complaints coming from any place. Finally, the people are requested to take all precautionary measures while controlling their nerves and not to deviate from them. Appreciate your life and health, it is not cheap. Take good care of all the people associated with These are the people on whose existence the beauty of Chamanistan thought and action depends. This epidemic is not permanent but temporary and we will be red-faced in this ordeal, God willing.
