present day, she has been teaching and directing children's plays for more than

Early Career
Shehnaz
Sheikh was found by Haseena Moin because she was the only actress who could
represent her heroine. She debuted in the drama serial Ajanbi which was aired on PTV. This drama was the start of her acting career.

Sheikh appeared in another drama serial, "Balila" in 1980, the writer
of this drama was Shoaib Hashmi. Later, the show was called off.
After that,
she signed up for Syed Mohsin Ali's and Shoaib Mansoor's drama serial Ankahi
written by Haseena Moin.
In the
drama, Shakeel Yousuf, Javed Sheikh, Behroze Sabzwari, Badar Khalil, and Qazi
Wajid played the main roles.
The
character she played was Sana Murad, a young woman from a middle-class family
who is ambitious and level-headed. PTV also broadcast this drama.
Her next
role was in another critically acclaimed PTV drama titled "Maray Thay Jin
K Liye" where she played a modern woman.
Immediately
following, she starred in another critically acclaimed PTV drama "Maray
Thay Jin K Liye", in which she portrayed a modern woman.
Those who
watched this drama also praised her portrayal of her. Sheikh collaborated again with
Hassena Moin and then starred in a cult classic drama as a businesswoman Zara,
which dominated the box office.
Shehnaz
Sheikh was also an excellent host. Her TV shows in the early 1990s included a couple of chat
shows.
